Al-Fann: Journal of Islamic Art, Design and Culture focuses on scholarly research that explores the intersections of Islam, art, design, education, and culture. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary and critical approaches that examine artistic and design practices, cultural expressions, educational processes, and visual phenomena within Islamic contexts and Muslim societies. Al-Fann seeks to contribute to the development of Islamic Studies by positioning art and design as important dimensions of intellectual, cultural, educational, social, and spiritual life.

1. Islamic Art and Visual Arts

Research examining the relationships between art, culture, and Muslim societies, including Islamic art history, cultural heritage, artistic traditions, cultural identity, and the preservation and development of Islamic cultural heritage.

6. Contemporary Art, Design and Muslim Society
Research on contemporary art and design within Muslim societies, including technology, new media, creative practices, globalization, social change, cultural transformation, and emerging forms of artistic and design expression.
